Sterling Tools Ltd consolidated sales down 3.56% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit saw a strong growth of 268.55% As on : 05-Aug-26  17:47

Sterling Tools Ltd share price declined by 0.98% to Rs 248.0 after the company's net profit surged by 268.55% to Rs 5.86 crore, while revenue from operations slipped slightly by 3.56% to Rs 214.07 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Auto Components & Equipments industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 11.06 lakh crore, easing 7.56%. It has marginally improved by 2.63% over last one week and advanced by 10.06% in last one month while the market capitalization of Sterling Tools Ltd has improved by 3.42% and 4.62% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Sterling Tools Ltd stood at Rs 12.86 crore in Q2 FY26, gaining 4.72% year-on-year, and expanding by 84.24% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 20 crore, rising 5.17% YoY and surging by 302.00% sequentially. Total expenses dropped by 10.13% to Rs 201.42 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 91.5 crore, inching up 5.73% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 25.55 crore, ticking higher by 5.97% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations improved 10.12% to Rs 1026.3 crore, while net profit grew slightly 5.27% to Rs 58.29 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 10146% to Rs 97.92 crore, and PBT saw a minor gain of 6.15% to Rs 76.64 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 123.53 crore in FY26, as against Rs 101.63 crore in FY25. Sterling Tools Ltd crashed 25.02% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 3.20% during the same period.
